Access control installation for your building
AXON installs access control with a dedicated team, bringing controllers, RFID readers, output modules and management configuration together on site. We select equipment around the people and spaces you manage. Indicative base systems start from €100 per elevator; the final quote defines the included hardware, installation and other project costs.

More than choosing a controller board
A useful access system must fit the building’s existing equipment and daily routines. Residents may need their own floors and the main entrance; staff may need service rooms; a visitor may need only one shared area. We turn these requirements into reader positions, permissions and the appropriate command interfaces.
Our dedicated installation team works from an agreed scope covering the selected AXON equipment, its placement and connections, configuration and commissioning. Cabinets, cabling, power supplies, locks and other supporting equipment are assessed with the site. The proposal makes clear what is supplied, what is reused and which additional work is required.

- Reader, controller and expansion-node placement
- Permissions, functional checks and administrator handover

Access for elevators, doors and garages
The same project can include several types of access point. Each one needs the right equipment interface and a clear rule about who may use it.
Elevator cards and floor permissions
Install the reader where passengers can use it comfortably and connect the access outputs to compatible floor-request signals. We compare concentrated cabin control with a modular master and expansion nodes. The access layer authorizes floor requests; the elevator retains its motion control and safety functions.
Elevator access guideBuilding doors and restricted areas
Plan card entry for main doors, offices, stores and shared facilities. Reader placement, the lock interface, power and exit arrangements are considered together. The result is a defined access setup for each door, rather than assuming one relay channel includes everything a door needs.
Door and RFID access guideGarages, gates and parking barriers
Connect an authorized access event to the compatible command input of the garage or barrier equipment. Residents, staff and visitors can have different permissions according to the project. Motor power and obstacle protection remain with the gate equipment, while AXON handles the configured access command.
Explore the applicationsChoose the architecture before counting boards
Signal locations, reader positions and cabling determine the layout alongside the number of floors.
Master Lite for a compact modular layout
Lite combines four local SSR signal outputs with CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and a Wiegand reader input. Compatible nodes add outputs or reader functions when required. The modular master can be planned in the cabin, at an entrance or in an equipment cabinet.
Read AXON Master PremiumMaster Premium for two separate CAN branches
Premium offers two isolated CAN branches, monitored node supplies, two local SSR contacts, Ethernet and onboard LTE. We choose it when those interfaces fit the project. Its isolation and EMI/ESD protection support the electrical design, alongside suitable cabling, power and enclosures.
ReadExpansion, readers and concentrated cabin control
Node8 adds eight SSR signal channels, while Reader EV3 supplies the CAN RFID/NFC interface. The external LTE module is an option for a compatible configuration. CCU-32 remains the 32-output concentrated cabin approach. These roles are compared during selection. Read the modular access-control guide.
From site survey to a working access plan
We agree the scope with you before work starts. Our team organizes installation and configuration through these steps, with a clear handover to the administrator.
Site assessment
We record the controlled floors, doors, garages, existing equipment and reader locations. We review cable routes, network access, power and cabinet space, then identify what can be reused and what needs to be added to the configuration.
Mounting and connections
We mount the controllers, nodes and readers according to the agreed plan and organize the cabling, supplies and equipment interfaces. We label connections and preserve service access so maintenance teams can follow the installation later.
Permission setup
We create the agreed user groups and assign cards or tokens to their permitted floors and areas. We configure supported validity rules and output assignments, then confirm with the administrator who can issue credentials and change permissions.
Access checks
We test permitted and refused credentials, the relevant output and reader feedback at each point. We check the configured network-loss and reconnection behaviour and coordinate equipment-interface checks with the teams responsible for the building equipment.
Administrator handover
We explain routine card management, lost-card handling and the platform functions included in the project. We document installed devices, configuration and maintenance responsibilities, and agree support arrangements as part of the handover.
RFID credentials that can be administered properly
A card or token is useful when its permissions are easy to understand and maintain. Plan who receives credentials, which areas each group may enter and who approves changes. Residents, employees and service providers may need different permissions rather than a single unrestricted credential for everyone.
AXON offers authenticated RFID cards and keyfob tokens with protection against copying in compatible configurations, from €3 per piece at wholesale pricing. The credential and reader are selected and configured together for the intended authentication.
For a lost credential, the administrator identifies and blocks or removes it through the configured management workflow, then issues a replacement with the appropriate permissions. The installation handover explains synchronization and any device-specific steps, so reporting a lost card leads to a clear action. Changes synchronize in real time across connected masters.
AXON links apartment payment records and subscription validity to access rules. Before an expiry, residents receive advance notifications on their phones. When a subscription expires or the configured payment requirement is not met, access is restricted automatically at the points selected by the administrator. Other access points follow their own permissions, and emergency egress remains available.
At handover, we explain access schedules, remote disabling of a reader or node and local phone diagnostics through the device’s supported connection. See how AXON works for the complete access, payment and management workflow.
Installation around the people who run the site
New buildings
Plan reader locations, controller cabinets and cable routes before finishes are completed. This helps include the access system in the building design and leaves room for the agreed future expansion.
Existing buildings
Review the installed elevator, doors, locks, readers and wiring before deciding what to retain. A compatible Wiegand reader may be an option with Lite, but its format, supply and credential limitations still need checking.
Administrators and installation partners
Building administrators define daily access needs; elevator companies and other installers bring knowledge of the existing equipment. Our installation team coordinates the AXON scope with those responsibilities and agrees the configuration and handover.
A starting point for your project budget
These starting prices help frame an enquiry. The written quote defines the selected products, quantities, installation work and total project cost.
From €100 per elevator
Indicative starting price for a basic access system for one elevator. The final quotation defines the controller, readers, outputs, cabling, supporting equipment and installation work included, according to the needs of the site.
How AXON pricing worksFrom €3 each, wholesale
Wholesale starting price per piece for authenticated RFID cards or tokens with copying protections in compatible configurations. Credential choice, configuration and quantity are confirmed in the quote, together with order terms and applicable taxes.
Request wholesale pricingPrice follows the installation requirements
Choose the hardware layout alongside the installation scope so that the quote reflects the system as a whole.
Controlled points and output channels
Floors, entrances and garage commands require different interfaces. Count the readers and control signals separately, then select local outputs or compatible expansion. More floors do not always mean a proportional number of complete controllers.
Existing wiring and supporting equipment
Cable routes, installation access, enclosures, supplies and lock or gate interfaces affect the work. A site with suitable existing infrastructure can have a different scope from a building that needs new cable runs and equipment.
Credentials, connectivity and administration
Include card or token quantities, Ethernet or cellular requirements and the selected platform functions. SIM service, installation, ongoing support and any additional work should be clearly identified in the proposal rather than assumed from a starting price.
